Poster by Prof. Lois Egg on the 1809–1959 Tyrolean Provincial Celebrations, from the private collection of Sepp Kerschbaumer. The poster was confiscated in 1960 during a search of a house carried out because of the hoisting of a Tyrolean flag on the Frangart church steeple. The poster and flag were both confiscated. The hoisting of the Tyrolean flag, the depiction of the Tyrolean eagle, and even the painting of window shutters in the historical Tyrolean colors of white/red were strictly forbidden. Sepp Kerschbaumer was sentenced to ten days of imprisonment for hoisting the Tyrolean flag.
These two items were auctioned off some years later by the district court of Kaltern.
